Knitting is story-making.

We deliver a story of 100 years of craftsmanship, with spirit and passion.
You experience comfort that only the best knitwear can guarantee.

Choosing raw materials

First we travelled the world - South Africa, Peru, Australia, Argentina,
and the USA - in search of quality.
Then we met the people who could provide us with that quality material,
people with a passion to match our own.

Our Craftsmanship

It is not only Japanese spinning/knitting technology but also the experience of English, French and Italian artisans support our craftsmanship.
We have dedicated much time to studying the skill of our predecessors in order to knit our present creations.

Pitti Immagine Filati

Sato Seni Co., Ltd. became the first Japanese spinning company to have exhibited woosted yarn in Pitti Immagine Filati in Italy in 2007. Their nature-inspired, beautiful yarn has been highly acclaimed by international buyers.
Sato Seni Co., Ltd. has their own brand, M.&KYOKO.

Featured in a historical day

2009 became very special year for M.&KYOKO.
Masaki, the textile designer of M.&KYOKO, was astonished to find his mohair yarn appeared in the olive yellow cardigan, worn by the fist lady Michelle Obama at Inauguration day.
This extraordinary fine mohair is rooted in Africa, first spun by Masaki into a yarn and presented to market.

M.&KYOKO

It is not all- handmade, but is essential for us that our knitwear has warmth.
From raw materials to embroidered finishes,
M.&KYOKO pays close attention to every detail.

Eco thoughts

Like stone jewellery,
we hope you enjoy our knitwear for long time to come,
enjoying another soft touch of comfort in later years.
